Update Supplier Prices - Printers (In South Africa) are able to download up-to-date paper prices directly from the QuickEasy server. These prices are the Supplier's list prices, however, and need to be adjusted to match the discount structure that has been negotiated with them. Supplier Prices, for paper and other categories, can be adjusted as follows:
1. Set the data filter to open the Supplier Prices that need to be adjusted and click the View button to open the list.
Select a Material Category
Set Update to Supplier Prices
2. Click Update Supplier Prices > Set Adjustments & Prices
3. Select a Sub-Category, Name (applicable to Paper Categories only) and Supplier to determine which prices will be updated. Leave a selection blank to ignore the filter. eg. If Suppliers = blank, the prices for all the Suppliers in the list will be updated.
4. Select an update option
Update Adjustments (%) - the Adj % field will be updated to the specified value - set the value to 0 to clear adjustments.
Adjust list prices (%) - the Price... fields will be adjusted by the specified percentage. This would typically be used to adjust prices in anticipation of a price increase - before the new Supplier price list is available.
Set the VAT exclusive list price to (Amount) - this option will update the Price (Exc) field to the amount specified. Ideal for a Paper Category where the prices are loaded as a Price/kg.
Set the VAT inclusive list price to (Amount) - this option will update the Price (Inc) field to the amount specified.
5. Click the Update button to iterate and update the Supplier Price list.
2. Data grid - This shows the Pricing by Category, Description, Unit, Set Costs, Cost from, Adjustment %, Unit Cost, Set Price, Sell from, VAT Type, and Price totals.
