Specimens: BS-0290 [†] (living plants), received from Rimba Ilmu Botanical Garden, Malaysia, cult., Sep. 2009; BS-0290A [†] (living plants), raised from seeds of BS-0290, the seedlings died.
Flowering and seeding: Two small plants were introduced from Malaysia into Thailand in 2009; one plant started flowering in Oct. 2012, producing only 2 seeds, which both germinated, but none of the seedlings survived. The flowering plant died in Aug./Sep. 2013, the non-flowering died in 2014.
Seed viability: Unknown.
Seed weight: Not recorded.
Seed germination: Two seeds were collected, and both germinated.
