Distribution: THAILAND: introduced, in cultivation, rare. — CHINA (South): 井抗 (Jingkang), Shuangjiang, south-western Yunnan.
Culm size: Height 20–25 m; diameter 10–19 cm; tight clump.

Specimen: BS-0767 [D] (living plant), raised from seeds from 井抗 (Jingkang), Shuangjiang, south-western Yunnan, China, the seeds from FMXG, Yunnan, China, as "Dendrocalamus sp., 井抗龙竹 (jǐng kàng lóng zhú)", collected Nov. 2012, received Dec. 2012.
Seed viability: Unknown, viability is assumed to last at least several months.
Seed weight: 10 g ≈ 200–270 dried spikelets (husk-wrapped seeds).
Seed germination: Seeds (BS-0767) were laid on moistened tissue paper, 25 January 2013, coleoptiles emerged after 7 days, germination rate was moderate (40%).
Comments: Several seedlings were distributed in northern Thailand; one seedling remained at Bambusetum Baan Sammi, which died in April 2018.
