Comments:
(1) A valid publication of the name, Dendrocalamus radicosus L. Gao, is not known.
(2) This name, Dendrocalamus radicuosus, has not been listed in T. P. Yi & al., Iconographia Bambusoidearum Sinicarum, 2008 [#1178] (neither under Latin script nor Chinese characters), Flora of China [#1303], PlantList.org, IPNI, KewScience Plants of the World Online, Kew GrassBase [#1335], all accessed 10 July 2020, and any other reliable sources could not be detected.
Specimen: BS-0651 [-] (living plants), raised from seeds, the seeds from FMXG, Yunnan, China, as "Dendrocalamus radicosus L. Gao, 多根龙竹 (duō gēn lóng zhú)", collected Apr. 2011, received 19 May 2011.
Seed viability: Unknown, viability is assumed to last at least several months.
Seed weight: 10 g ≈ 800–1,000 dried spikelets (husk-wrapped seeds).
Seed germination: Seeds (BS-0651) were placed in moistened coir dust at 100%, in May 2011, atmospheric humidity >70%, coleoptiles emerged after 12 days, germination rate moderate (40–60%).
