The Bambusetum Baan Sammi has been closed to the public since 1 March 2022. Visits are still permitted, but only by prior arrangement with Thammarat Boonthammee (email: BoonthammeeBambooGarden@gmail.com).

Please send a message several days before your planned visit date, indicating either an exact or approximate time of your arrival. You will receive a response, usually within 24 hours, confirming the visit date.
Group Size:
The maximum number of people is 3. Sorry, larger groups cannot be accepted as the bambusetum is part of Baan Sammi Nature Retreat, a residential area inhabited by people who prefer a quiet and undisturbed stay. The bambusetum is not very suitable for children, mainly not for children below the age of about 12 years.
Specific Interest in Viewing:
Please briefly describe your specific interest in viewing bamboo, e.g., bamboo suitable for construction, fences and screens, certain species of bamboo, etc. There is also the option to obtain living bamboo plants, pre-cut bamboo poles, seedlings, and seeds as long as they are offered on the blog BAMBOO AVAILABLE FOR FREE — ไม้ไผ่ให้ฟรี.
Guided Tour:
A guided tour of about half an hour can be offered.
Charges:
Entrance to Bambusetum Baan Sammi and the guided tour are free of charge.
