Comments: A living plant (BS-0089) under the name "Neohouzeaua fimbriata" was received from Ranong in 2012. When the plant had gained sufficient size after planting, its characteristics could be checked in more detail in July 2017. It turned out that this bamboo is not Schizostachyum fimbriatum, syn. Neohouzeaua fimbriata, but possibly another, still undescribed species of this genus.
