4 — Bibliography
The publication list is arranged alphanumerically by the author(s) (ascending, A to Z) and then by year (ascending, current year last).
Most, but not all, of the publications cited in Chapters 1 and 2 are listed in the Bibliography here. The Bibliography also includes publications that were helpful in the general editing of the content of Bamboos of Thailand but did not require specific entry into these Bamboos of Thailand chapters.
TAGS 1 — Genera and supragenerics
For many publications of taxonomic relevance, the names of the genera or supragenerics (just those that are accepted and primarily dealt with by the authors in a given publication) are added as tags. If the generic names dealt with are numerous, the number is given in parentheses, or, in the case of ongoing online publications, two plus signs are given in parentheses.
TAGS 2 — Country
The area covered by a given publication is usually tagged by the WIPO-standard two-letter uppercase codes to represent country names, e.g., "TH" for Thailand, or, for a larger region, by one-letter to three-letter lowercase codes, e.g., "ptr" for the paleotropics. A prefix of one to two lowercase letters can be added to indicate a smaller region, e.g., "neIN" for North-East India, or "seas" for South-East Asia.
