Distribution: THAILAND (North), in mixed forest. — MYANMAR.
Culm size: Length 20–30 m, diameter 2.5–5 cm.

Characteristics: Culms climbing, culm internodes 20–100 cm long (15–20 cm in Dinochloa macclellandii), walls very thick (thin-walled in Dinochloa macclellandii); branches slender, numerous [without dominant branch?] (with one branch dominant, as thick as the stem in Dinochloa macclellandii); culm sheaths green or yellowish-green when young; foliage leaf blades large, 15–45 cm long, 2.5–10 cm wide.
Uses: Culms for small implements, ropes, and paper-making.
Provisional identification: Not identified. This might not even be a species of Dinochloa.
