Welcome to year 2025/2026.
I have a wonderful year planned for us that will take our learning journey around the world through space and time. We will read engaging stories, collaborate on interactive projects, and engage in rich discussions to communicate our understanding of topics by continuing to develop our content area through reading and writing. My motto is learning happens when we make mistakes. I am excited to be on this journey with you all. Let's make it a great year, together.
A Little About Me
I am in my 11th year at TVCS , but my 2nd year at VHS. I have a Bachelor's in History from UCF (Go Knights), and a Master's in Education from Concordia University. I have 15+ years in education. I have 6 kids, who are all or were VCS students (two graduates). I have one daughter in her final year of nursing school at UCF, one son who just enlisted with the US Marines, and the other 4 finishing up their years here at VCS. We are a huge sports family. I love my job as a teacher.
