Mr. Ford

Welcome to U.S. History and APUSH!

This will be my first year teaching with VCS and I'm extremely excited to get to know you all! I've been teaching History at North Marion but I'm a Kentucky boy born and raised. The objective of this class is to promote U.S. History curiosity and literacy. Students will gain a working knowledge of the concepts and principles of the study of U.S. History from the American Civil War through the present (For U.S. History). Pre-Columbus era to the present for APUSH. Students will be exposed to the historical, geographic, political, economic, and sociological events which influenced the development of the United States. Together we will learn how the past helps to shape the world we live in today.
