I am Kevin Danielson. This is my 3rd year teaching at TVCS. I have taught math for 12 years before transitioning to an interventionist position here at the charter school. This year, in addition to being a math interventionist, I will be teaching two Algebra Recovery classes.  

The goal of an Algebra Recovery class is for students to achieve their math concordance score. They need that concordance score to graduate from high school. Students get that by passing an: Algebra 1 EOC, Geometry EOC, ACT, PSAT or SAT. 

Since I started at TVCS I have been working with students to help them pass these tests. Once a student passes one of the those tests, guidance will move them out of the class and into an elective.  

Students will have many opportunities to pass one of those tests this year. Some of them will be in school but students also have the opportunity to sign up for PSAT, SAT and ACT on Saturday's through out the school year.

Algebra EOC Retake: September 19th, all grades. 

Geometry EOC Retake: September 26th, Juniors.

PSAT: October 11th, Sophomores

ACT: October 17th, Juniors and Seniors

I am available for after school tutoring on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
