My name is Mr. Fergerson. I will be your teacher this year. I'm looking forward to working with each of you.
A little about myself: I am a local to Lake County. My kids and myself moved back here to Florida in 2019 after my time in the Army. I have 3 children (14,11, &6). When I am not teaching you will find me on the field with all three of my children who love sports. Also, I enjoy all sports and I am big on my Fighting Irish in college. Other than that you will catch me on the golf course when not watching sports. Let's have a great year. Go Buffalo!

Welcome to DIT
As the first business course you will take at VHS we will begin building a foundation of hard work and professionalism which will help you succeed both in and out of the classroom. Not only will we work to improve our computer and communication skills, each student will be given the opportunity to leave this class with an Industry Certification as a Social Media Strategist. Students will be learning about the challenges, pitfalls, and setbacks required to starting a business from scratch, through acquisition, or by "rising through the ranks". We will also discuss rewards, benefits, and successes. In the second semester students will be learning the ins and outs of WordPress and will earn their WordPress Editor certification.
