Hello, I am Jennifer Ramsell, and this is my 13th year at The Villages High School!
After teaching AP Capstone (Seminar and Research), AP Language and Composition, Pre-AP English 1, English 1/English 1 Honors, and English 2/English 2 Honors, I have stepped out of the classroom full time this year to take the position of Student Support Specialist for VHS. In this capacity, I will serve as the case manager and coordinator of accommodations and services for all 504 and ESOL students. I work closely with Student Services, our Administrative team, and your teachers to be sure your unique learning needs are met. I am pleased to serve VHS students grades 9-12 and am looking forward to a great 2026-2027 school year!
Before moving to Florida in 2014, I taught 7th-grade English Language Arts and College Composition in New Hampshire. And prior to teaching, I was the Director of Public Relations/Copywriting for an advertising and marketing agency in New England. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English/American Literature from Castleton University in Vermont (now Vermont State University) and a Masters in Middle/Secondary Education from Rivier University in New Hampshire. I am a Clinical Educator and ESOL certified.

Learning is a process. Trust the process!
Don't be afraid to make mistakes. As Wayne Gretzky said, "You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take."
Please remember, I am here to support you and would be more than happy to brainstorm ways for you to be your best possible self.
