This is my fourth year teaching at The Villages High School. I have taught Environmental Science, Biology, Physical Science, and Chemistry. I received my bachelor’s degree in Biology and Secondary Education from Elizabeth City State University. Prior to my teaching career, I worked in higher education publishing as a Learning Solutions Consultant, supporting colleges and universities throughout Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Central Florida. I am also a former flight attendant with United Airlines. Flying the friendly skies was my first career out of college, and while I don't miss the jump seat, I'm grateful for the opportunity to have explored the United States and Europe during my five-year tenure. My husband, Chris; our daughter, Charleston; our goldendoodle, Quinlan; and I moved from Virginia to The Villages area eight years ago to live near our retired parents and extended family. We love our community, and I'm honored to be teaching at The Villages High School. Go Buffalo!
