Hey ya'll. I have been a parent at VCS since 2007 and my last child will be graduating in 2027. I started the ag program at the middle school in 2016.
I am not a native Floridian but I am married to one and have three daughters who are. My husband was born and raised in Leesburg. I started my life in south Texas and moved to Florida when I was 12.
After graduating from Edgewater High in Orlando, I wanted a career in something that had to do with teaching people where their food comes from. I graduated from Clemson University in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Education. I accidentally fell into teaching in 2001 and have never looked back. This is my calling.
