Welcome!

      Hi! I am so excited to be teaching Theatre classes this year!  I have been a teacher for 26 years now.  During the course of my career, I have taught English, Theatre, Speech,Yearbook and Newspaper, I've coached basketball, planned prom, ran a drama club, and the list goes on!  I have several awards for Theatre.  One of which includes a Theatre state championship for the play, "The Lottery."  Since moving to The Villages High School, our Theatre program has gotten off to a fantastic start! We had one student receive a Theatre scholarship from our regional competition. We also had 5 events qualify for the State Theatre Competition and 4 of those events scored Excellent and one received a Superior rating!  Pretty great for our first year!  

      In my personal life, I like to devote most of my time to family.  I also enjoy crafting, baking, home improvement, gardening, and most things outdoor related. I was a ski instructor in WV for many years but have now traded in my snow skis for flip flops.   I have two adult children,Brooke and Logan, who are my heart and soul;  3 grandbabies, Kota,Paisley,and Stetson who have me wrapped around their little fingers, and 5 bonus grands that I love like my own.  I married my best friend, Mark, in April of 2026 and we have are living the dream!  I am so blessed!
