Hello Art Students!
My name is Mrs. Heathman and I am so excited that you are joining my class this year!
A little about me: I am originally from Crown Point, Indiana and attended Ball State University. I taught for 6 years in Indianapolis, Indiana before moving to Sunny Florida, June 2010 where I have been teaching at VHS ever since (This is year 16 for me). I have a husband, 2 kids, and 1 dog.
My son plays soccer for Brave SC and is in the 6th grade. My daughter dances and Cheers for Stampeders, and is in the 3rd grade. I am currently an assistant coach on my daughter's Pom team.
I am very excited to create art with you this school year.

1 Pink Pearl Eraser or white plastic eraser (have in your backpack)
1 pack of #2 pencils NO MECHANICAL (have in your backpack)
1 sketchbook (no smaller than an 8x10 with spiral binding)
One of the following (depending on the 1st letter of your last name)
A-H: 1 container of sanitizing wipes(any brand)
I-P: 1 bottle of dish soap (any brand)
Q-Z: 1 large box of Kleenex
1 roll of Masking Tape approximately 1 inch thick
Additional items may be needed throughout the school year depending on the project.
