About me
This is will be my 8th year at TVCS. I began my teaching career in my home town of Glasgow, Scotland. I hold a BSc in Mathematics and a Florida teaching certificate for grades 6 -12. I have taught various forms of the mathematics curriculum in many different countries. Here are a few countries and states I have been fortunate to live and teach in; Hong Kong, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, South Carolina, Georgia, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands.
I look forward to a productive and successful year.

Email is the best form of communication. I will do my best to respond within 48 hours.
After school tutoring will be available from 2.45pm - 3.20pm each day in room 6-127, on request.
If a student is absent they are responsible for making up any missed work, check Google classroom for weekly agenda. The agenda is a guide to the lessons and assignments for the week. After looking over the assignments, please contact me if you have any questions. I am here to help, so please do not hesitate to ask!

Supplies required for Algebra 2
Notebook for foldable organisation and additional notes/ examples
Loose-leaf lined note paper + folder
TI-30Xa or other scientific calculator
PENCILS and erasers (pens not recommended)
One box of tissues
Headphones or earbuds for use with computers
No Cell phone use during class.
As per Florida House bill # CS/HB 379 Technology in K-12 Public Schools:
"The bill prohibits students from using wireless communications devices at school during instructional time, except when expressly directed by a teacher solely for educational purposes and requires a teacher to designate an area for wireless communications devices during instructional time."
Our designated area will be a lock box located at the front of the classroom. All cell phones or other electronic communication devices will be placed in the lockbox upon entering the classroom and will be picked up at the end of the class period.
