Introduction:
I was born in Guyana, South America. I moved to the United States when I was eight years old. I have lived in Minnesota, New York and New Jersey, prior to moving to Florida. I grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey. I graduated from Kean University with a BA in Biology & a Minor in Psychology. I worked as an EMT in New Jersey prior to teaching. I also hold a MA in Health Administration. I currently work at UF Leesburg in the ER,Telemetry & Phlebotomy as well. I am also an adjunct Professor teaching EMS 1010 (Anatomy), Medical Terminology & Professions of Caring @ Valencia College. I am also teaching the Basic Healthcare Worker & Phlebotomy certification through Lake Technical College. I am also a BLS (CPR) & ACLS Instructor & an Part Time EMT/EMS Instructor @ Lake Tech.
I have been teaching Science for the last 20 years in Florida, in Orange County and now at VHS. I have had many wonderful experiences during my professional and educational experiences of which I an eager to share. I look forward to new adventures in Health Sciences!
