Algebra 2 Honors Materials Needed:
3-Ring binder - (LOTS of handouts) - may leave in classroom. May want a folder to carry daily assignment, if needed.
Loose-leaf notebook paper
Scientific Calculator (not graphing and no specific brand)
Dry Erase Marker (optional) if you like to do work on whiteboard, I will not have a supply of markers.
AP Calculus AB Materials Needed:
TI 84+ Color Graphing Calculator - there will be a classroom set. There are specific problems that the graphing calculator will have to be used on the AP exam. I only know how to use the TI 84+ Graphing Calculator, so a purchase of another brand, you will be required to know how to use it. May check one out from Media Center. There is a Desmos Graphing Calculator embedded in AP Classroom and may be used when applicable.
3-Ring binder - (LOTS of handouts) this is just for Calculus work. May leave in classroom. May want a folder to carry daily assignment, if needed.

Dual Enrollment PreCalculus Algebra and Trigonometry Materials Needed:
TI 84+ Color Graphing Calculator - there will be a classroom set. You will be allowed to use a grpahing calculator on some tests but not all. When a graphing calculator is not permitted, you may use a 4-function calculator or possibly a scientific calculator. The TI-84+ graphing calculator is recommended by the college (LSSC) when a graphing calculator is allowed. NO DESMOS, TI-89, TI N-spire, or TI-92 graphing calculators are allowed. If you use another brand of calculator, such as Sharp or Casio, it needs to be approved by your instructor; also make sure you have an instruction manual to use. IF YOU BUY A NEW GRAPHING CALCULATOR, PLEASE MAKE SURE IT IS APPROVED BY YOUR INSTRUCTOR BEFORE YOU OPEN THE PACKAGE AND SAVE YOUR RECEIPT!

My name is Lee Ann Ochs-Sherman and this will be my 9th year here at The Villages Charter School as a math teacher! I was born and raised in the Texas panhandle and graduated from West Texas A&M with a MS in mathematics. I moved to Florida the summer of 2018. My first year of teaching was in 1988 and I have taught in Texas, New Mexico, Idaho, and now Florida.
I am blessed to have an amazing husband David and 2 bonus daughters and their families!
I love spending time with my family and visiting Walt Disney World as often as possible.
