From microscopic biology -- To who the hell are we?

A Systems Analysis, specifically a Macro Agro-Deterministic View - at a very fast romp.

What you eat has determined how you behave, but I speak not at all about nutrition

instead, from a Systems Macro view (from say 50,000 feet),

it is Not so much What you Eat so much as what you Grow,

which triggers Adaption as to how your culture behaves...

The occupations of a people truly have profound effects on who they become.

Much of the world’s human population satisfies its energy needs with starch in the form of: rice, wheat, corn, and potatoes.

We North Americans have been Wheat peoples. That actually matters profoundly.

As wheat people, what we are following a very ancient pre-history - of behaviours.

It is a reality that has framed our social arrangements, what we do.

And it is perhaps unseen but is a reality and a metaphor which has seriously defined us.

Now, it is changing under out feet.

Which means we don't quite know what we are - becoming.?
