to help build a cistern

Please join us for an exciting, one-of-a kind Three Kings day event in a small (two-room) rural school. This will be a unique opportunity to learn more about life in Salitrillo, a rural community located about eight miles from San Miguel. You'll see the excitement and joy experienced by the school children when the Tres Reyes arrive with their gifts! This event also will feature a community pancake breakfast.

The wells of the community are contaminated with toxic levels of arsenic and fluoride due to the municipal-wide depletion of the aquifer. We need to raise about $750 US to build a rainwater cistern at the school. All donations received will go directly to Caminos de Agua, a well-respected NGO, to organize this community and construct the cistern.

SIGN UP EARLY AS SPACE IS VERY LIMITED!

To sign up, e-mail Jane Wilkinson, jane.wilkinson@gmail.com. Pickup locations will be the Aldea Gate, front of Hotel Real de Minas, or in front of UniMed/Guadalajara Pharmacy on Salida a Celaya (opposite La Comer). Please designate your preferred pick-up location.
