Professor Robbert Dijkgraff is not only an eminent theoretical scientist. He has received many awards for his unusual ability to communicate scientific ideas and realities to the public.
The clarity of his thinking has helped him win many awards for his scientific work. In this next talk, he uses a brief historical look at the founders of the Institute for Advanced Study to present a remarkable talk on
what science is, how science research was done in the past and what it is
actually like today.
