Back by popular demand, we explore CRISPR Cas9, the revolutionary breakthrough in DNA biotechnology, touch upon the recent discoveries that are now appearing on a weekly basis, some of which are likely to have a direct impact on our lives. We will watch an interview with the visionary George Church, after which we the floor is open discussion, technical, ethical and moral ramifications of this amazing advance.
We are discussing changing the date to Thursday, but since our sitting chairman Doug Wind is out of town, we will delay this decision and pick up the subject when he returns so for now, the meeting date and time will be the same place and time.
