Two Months

In two months Doug and myself will begin this trek on our Treks across the USA. I suppose it's a bit selfish, even if some money can be raised for charity. After all, it will demand my time and money. Even now I give up hours to train. (Yesterday I proved myself a true Oregonian by riding around Sauvie Island in light showers.) Yet, I'm looking forward to the singleness of purpose, the slow pace, the conversations along the with with Doug and with strangers. I'm hoping my physical body will hold up and my mind to state true. So with this first real entry, the adventure does begin . . .
