1 Remove old

Start from inside front corner of right shoe. More

Take care with the last bit as it comes undone. Avoid damage to heel block

2 Grind

Grind right heel flat and check angle

Grind left heel flat and check angle

Right heel is most worn, avoids double handling

3 Check Angle

Sit shoe on heel, check gap is 1-5mm under sole

Makes for comfortable and stable repair

4 Check Height

Put shoes together back to back

Ensures even heights

5 Glue

From middle to edge

Keeps glue off sides of heel block

6 Heat and Assemble

Heat heel rubber only

To make it conform to the heel block and easy to trim

7 Trim

Knife, Heel Trim, Cone, Deburr

Flows with layout of machine

8 Polish

Paint if needed then polish

Don't wait for paint to dry unless absolutely necessary

Single piece flow speedy method

Earmuffs on, leave machine going

1 Remove right heel, grind, check angle, glue

2 Remove left heel, grind, check angle, glue

3 Assemble right shoe

4 Trim right shoe with knife, then heel trimmer, deburr, wax wheel and polish

5 Assemble left shoe

6 Trim left shoe with knife, then heel trimmer, deburr, wax wheel and polish

Assembling

Put shoe on last, place new heel on with breast lined up perfect, else overhang c5mm, with one side 2mm from edge if possible. Hammer.
