2. Stuff with plastic bags, to lightly puff out creases.
3. Use sponge in circular motion with 2 drops of paint on it near a corner. Not much paint!
4. Let dry 20min
5. Recoat 1-3 more times
Notes: Paint around edges and tricky bits with brush if you can't get the sponge in
1. Rough with foam, pay attention to creases across foot. Remove dust
Start on the side of the shoe out of sight as the sandpaper can be a bit sharp to start with. Sanding helps the paint stick and look good by removing small bumps, dirt and grime. If waxy or recently polished, wipe with combi cleaner or thinners if really bad

Light coats well rubbed in stay on very well. Thick coats brushed on are the most likely to come unstuck.
5. Recoat 1-3 more times
Keep coating till it looks OK. Then stop.
Notes:
Paint edges and tricky bits with brush if you can't get the sponge in.
Paint everything you intend to paint with each coat, otherwise you will be back touching up for hours.

2. Stuff with plastic bags, to lightly puff out creases.
This stops the paint from cracking as soon as the shoe is worn.
4. Let dry 20min
30min is even better and on synthetics or in damp weather 60min.
