MLTI T-Shirt Design

New President

For these projects I had to create graphic designs for different competitions. Each competition has a reward, the first was the MLTI conference shirt design (an exclusively Maine competition), and the second was the Doodle for Google Competition (Nationwide).

The first project was required to be only two tones so that it could be easily mass produced on a t-shirt. It had many requirements for text and logos to be included within the piece. I ended up deciding to make a excited crowd as the main focus of the image. They are at a conference, which is why there is a large tv projecting the logo. I included the rest of the required text around the edges.

The second project was the doodle for google contest. This project is pretty open-ended. The only prompt was the following: When I grow up I hope... I decided to take this politically. I ended it with "to be president of the United States". This is mostly a joke, but something I always tell people. My image is mainly meant to represent any woman becoming president because I hope that the caution for having a woman run the country will dissipate when I grow up.
