Coulrophobia - Fear of clowns

For this project, I wanted to work to develop my concentration in a different variety of art styles. I decided to work larger and messier than my usual style. I used oil paint sticks to create a creepy clown. This idea came from the idea that clowns typically have balloons, but also that balloons can be a phobia sometimes, similarly to the phobia of clowns. After creating the dark, but colorful clown, I continued to use the paint sticks in the background, creating a checkerboard pattern.
