Globophobia - Fear of popping balloons

This piece was one I made on my own, outside of class. It was inspired by comic book style pop art. I started by sketching a woman in the center of the piece. I used watercolor to paint the face and shirt. I had her blowing up bubblegum with the same style as the balloons that I drew and painted in the background. I then added "pop"s in the background to add some contrast.
