This course will expand upon the foundations established in Japanese 1 and 2, leading you to greater proficiency in the language. You should be proficient in both reading and writing hiragana, katakana, and kanji before you enter Japanese 3. Through a greater emphasis on special projects, you will increase your understanding of cultural aspects introduced in Japanese 1 and 2.

Length: Year ● Credit: 1.0 ● Prerequisite: Japanese 2NCAA Approved

Diploma Credit Area: Foreign Language/Fine Arts (FL or FA)

If you have already fulfilled the FA or FL requirement for your particular diploma type, this course will transcribe as elective (EL) credit.
