This required senior course offers insight into the foundations and processes of American government. You will explore the development of our current political system, the three major branches of government, and the role you play in all of it. With an emphasis on the function of government organizations and agencies at the local, state, and national levels, this course will analyze contemporary political issues. You will be introduced to the process of legislation and the impact of modern media on voters.
