This fun and creative course introduces the fundamentals and functions of marketing in business. Learn the basic concepts of promotion, advertising, product development, retail management, customer service, and market research. Get hands-on marketing experience by operating the Cougar Gear Kiosk (student store) and completing other school promotion projects. Marketing 1 is a must-take business course and a prerequisite to higher-level business courses. Marketing students should strongly consider joining Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
