Do you love food? Do you want to learn new skills in the kitchen? Are you considering a career in the food service industry? If the answer to any of those questions is yes, Culinary Arts 1 is for you. This course is an introduction to the basics of cooking. You will learn about measuring, safety and sanitation, healthy food choices, and baking; you'll also get an overview of international cuisine.
