World Languages

The ability to communicate in another language is an incredibly useful skill in this increasingly interdependent world. A growing number of job opportunities hinge upon proficiency in more than one language. The Oregon university system requires a minimum of two years of study in the same world language. Three or more years of study in the same language may be required or strongly recommended for colleges or universities outside of Oregon.

MVHS offers in-depth study in three world languages: French, Japanese, and Spanish. You must demonstrate level-specific language proficiency in order to proceed to the next level of study.
