Business Management

Learn the fundamentals of business management and leadership! This course will focus on planning, organizing, directing, and controlling in the business environment. Meeting and sales presentations, remote meeting skills, business documents and publications, human resources and project management will be covered. Students will work individually and in teams to practice and build practical skills for managing in the workplace. Business Management students are strongly encouraged to participate in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).

Length: Semester ● Credit: 0.5 ● Prerequisite: Marketing 1, Accounting 1, or instructor approval

  • You will have the opportunity to meet the Career-Related Learning Experience (CRLE) graduation requirement in this course.

Diploma Credit Area: Applied/Fine Arts (FA)
