Introduction to Production Agricutlure
Introduction to Production Agriculture introduces you to the world of technical agriculture and the pathways you may pursue. We will explore career opportunities, practice hands-on skills, and work as both individuals and teams while learning about agricultural industries. By the end of the course you will understand the processes of plant & soil science, livestock animal production and metal fabrication. You will gain leadership development through the FFA, and conduct a Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) project, in which you will be able to personally analyze one area of agriculture you are interested in to gain industry experience. This is a semester course that may count as a 0.5 credit towards science or elective requirements for graduation. Please note: Although this course provides science credit toward graduation, it does not meet science requirements for NCAA eligibility.

- Dual Credit Course: Students who pass this course and Natural Resources 1 and/or Plant Science may be eligible to receive Oregon college credit. Work with the teacher to coordinate college credit and pay any associated fees.
