What can I expect in this class?
In this course, you can expect to work in a team to complete the yearbook. Your role will depend on the team you are on (business team, photography team, design team, regular team). We design the pages, take the photos, interview and write stories/captions, and then market the yearbook.
What does a typical day in this class look like?
On a typical day in Yearbook, the regular team might interview students and write captions. The business team might make posters and design ad pages. The photographer team might edit photos and place them on pages. The design team might design pages and prepare them for publication.
What about homework?
Most students in Yearbook will not have homework unless they do not use their class time well. Photographers regularly go to events outside of school.
What about tests?
There will be a few minor tests at the beginning as we learn terminology. Most of your grade is based on production.
