College Athletic Eligibility

NCAA Eligibility

If you plan to play a sport at a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) college or university, you must graduate from high school, complete 16 NCAA-approved core courses, earn a minimum of a 2.2 (for NCAA Division II) or 2.3 (for NCAA Division I) cumulative GPA in high school, and meet minimum ACT or SAT score requirements. Look for the “NCAA Approved” designation below the course descriptions on this site to see which MVHS classes have been approved by the NCAA Clearinghouse.
