Psychology 1

Psychology is the study of human behavior. This course deals with two aspects of psychology: the scientific methods used in the study of human behavior and the application of psychological principles to individual human behavior. You will be introduced to terms, techniques, and research findings that will help you gain insight into your own behavior and the behavior of others around you.

Psychology 1 is part of the Law, Public Safety & Security CTE program at MVHS. This program's course offerings include Law 1, Criminal Justice, Criminal Law, AP US Government, Psychology 1, and AP Psychology.
