The group notification functions allows Admins to engage in targeted marketing campaigns by sending messages to select registered portal users directly to their portal's account Notification inbox. it is a custom message that can be sent to registered portal users directly to their e-Account notification inbox. Notification messages can be classified as Bill and Payment, Promotional, or Account Management.
the following steps illustrates the process of sending a notification:
Step 1: Navigate to the following URL: https://www.fwcustomer.org/fairfax. User will enter their 1) User Name and 2) Password, then click Login.
Step 2: If verification is successful, the user will be navigated to the Customer Search page. On the left-hand navigation select Notifications then Send Notification.
Step 3: Send Notification page will be displayed. The following are the user admin will complete the following fields in order to send a notification to users:
1. Template:
This is an optional field, where admin user's can select any pre-defined templates that they created in Manage Templates
2. Type:
This is a required field, where admin user's must select the type of this notification whether it is:
a. Bill and Payment
b. Promotional
c. Account Management
3. Recipients/Groups:
This is also a required field, where admin user's must select a group of recipient from the popup, the displayed groups are pre-defined in "Create & Manage Groups"
a. Admin user's can select directly the desired group of recipients from the table
b. Admin user's can search for a certain group of recipients by clicking on Search button and filling the needed fields.
4. Subject:
Subject is a required field, where admin user's must input the desired title of this notification
5. Message:
Message is a required field as well, where admin user's must input the body of the notification.
Step 4: Then Admin user's click "Save and Send".
Note: Save Draft will save the notification but not send it to the recipients the notification will be set as "Pending" and admin user's can see it and update it in Notification History.
