The Start Service is a Self Service process that allows a customer to enter their application for a new service at a location to be entered in the Portal
Step 1: Navigate to the following URL: https://www.fwcustomer.org/fairfax. Customer will enter their 1) User Name and 2) Password, then click Login.
Step 2: To start a service, users click on Start Service in the left navigation bar.
Step 3: Users will go through 3 steps for submitting TAF:

Users must tick the box to indicate that they have read the terms and conditions then click Next button in order to navigate to the next step
2. Service Address;
Users must choose if they are an owner, landlord or tenant. if owner is selected the following fields are displayed, users fill out the service address field then click "Find Address" to select the address from the find address popup
After entering the address, users have to enter the date they would like the service to start on
then users selects an option under "Is there an underground irrigation or lawn sprinkler system at the property?" then clicks "Next" button
3. Application Information
User will be navigated to step 3 as seen in the below screenshot, user first selects "The new service is being requested under the name of X", if first option is selected; "mailing address" section is displayed, and if second option is selected; "Is the applicant a Person or an Organization?" section is displayed with "Person" and "Organization" options. Each option will populate its own fields for the user to fill out as seen below then users click Next to submit the start service request
Step 4: Confirmation page is displayed and an email is sent to the user as seen below:
