Because admin users may send out the same notification several times, creating template notifications is necessary to alleviate the workload and save their time.
the following steps illustrates the process of creating a notification templates:
Step 1: Navigate to the following URL: https://www.fwcustomer.org/fairfax. User will enter their 1) User Name and 2) Password, then click Login.
Step 2: If verification is successful, the user will be navigated to the Customer Search page. On the left-hand navigation select Notifications then Create Templates.
Step 1: When the user clicks “Create New Template” the user will complete the following fields to create a new template:
1. Subject
2. Notification Type
a. This configurable list to help group the templates that are created.
b. Examples: Outages, System Maintenance, Billing and Payments, etc.
3. Message
Step 2: User clicks on "Submit" button to submit the user's input to create a new template.
Step 1: When the user clicks on the edit icon under "Action" field, the following will be displayed to the user in a popup:
1. Subject
2. Notification Type
a. This configurable list to help group the templates that are created.
b. Examples: Outages, System Maintenance, Billing and Payments, etc.
Step 1: When the user clicks on the delete icon under "Action" field, the following will be displayed to the user in a popup:
User clicks on Submit to delete the template or cancel to not deleting the template.
