1- Manage MiPortal Homepage Customization:
What users see in the portal's homepage message:
Is configured by the admin through Manage MiPortal Homepage Customization --> Welcome Text:
Admins are able to configure Contact Information along with the logo picture
2- Manage MiPortalMobileHomepage Customization:
This page allows admins to configure welcome text, contact information, picture, and picture URL so the user can see the results via mobile.
3- Manage MiPortalFooter Customization:
This page allows admins to configure the portal's homepage footer:
Contact Information is what is displayed in the footer
Picture & Picture's URL is the Fairfax Water's logo and it redirects the user to https://fairfaxwater.org/ when clicked.
Admins can control a few features to be displayed or not through tick and untick the checkboxes "show copyrights" "show Browser Disclaimer" & "Use Picture"
3- Manage FAQ's
Search for a certain FAQ
Admins can search for a particular FAQ when needed through clicking on the Search button then enter the needed input in title field and hit Search.
Add a new FAQ
Step 1: Admins click on New button to add a new FAQ
Step 2: Page will load to display the following information:
When the Admin clicks on Add FAQ button on the right side the following fields will be displayed:
1- Title: FAQ Title
2- Radio buttons check:
a. Is required for registration: If Admins checks on Yes then the user will only see it when logging in the portal and if admin checks No then it will be displayed to all users whether registered or not
b. Is visible: If Admin checks Yes then it will be visible to all users and if admin checks no then it will be hidden and not visible to any users.
3- Order: Admins can determine the FAQ's order
4- Details: This is where the admin enters the FAQ's description
5- Switch Category button: When clicking on this button Admins select any desired category to include this FAQ under it.
Edit FAQ
Step 1: Admins must select a category first in order to edit it then click on Edit button:
Step 2: Screen will load and display the Category's FAQs
Step 3: Admins can make the needed alteration then hit "Save" to reflect the changes to the user's interface.
Delete FAQ
Create new FAQ Category
Notes:
Admins click once on any FAQ/s to select it, clicking twice would open a new page including all the selected FAQ's details
You cant delete a Category that has FAQ's under it, you should delete the FAQ then Delete the Category if needed
When entering an order number that is already in use in Adding a new FAQ screen you'll get an error message addressing that X is already in use.
Next available is X.
