Customers have the opportunity to report the filling of their pool to Fairfax Water to exclude the consumption from the peak charges. The customer will submit a form stating the amount of water used for this purpose.
Step 1: Navigate to the following URL: https://www.fwcustomer.org/fairfax. Customer will enter their 1) User Name and 2) Password, then click Login.
Step 2: Upon clicking Login, the Account credentials will be verified. if the account holds the pool indicator, the alert Pop up will display upon logging in and the alert will show in the alert section
Step 3: To submit the pool form, the user clicks on the View Pool Form button in the top popup or on Pool Form in the left main navigation bar.
Step 4: Pool user fill in the needed information to submit the pool form as follows:
The Date of Pool Filling is a required field that the user must enter before submitting the pool form.
In case user selects "I would like to enter the total amount I used" as seen in the below screenshot, the following fields will be displayed for the user to fill out and they are mandatory fields that the user must enter before submitted the pool form :
Amount of Water Used
Pool Capacity
Signature
Then the user clicks Submit button
If the user selects "I would like to enter the meter readings before and after filling" as seen in the below screenshot, the following fields will be displayed for the user to fill out and they are mandatory fields that the user must enter before submitted the pool form :
Meter Reading Before Filling
Meter Reading After Filling
Pool Capacity:
Signature:
Then the user clicks Submit button
Step 5: A confirmation popup is displayed once the user submits the pool form.
Step 6: The submitted pool form will be sent to FFW admins for processing and if the pool user clicks on the pool form page, a popup will display informing them that they have already submitted a pool form, and the information on this page will be read only.
Step 7: The pool user can choose whether they want the pool form to be paperless by selecting "Yes, I want to enroll in the paperless pool form process" and clicking save, or if they want the pool form to be paper and mailed to them by selecting "No, I want to continue receiving the paper form by mail" and clicking save.
Step 8: The user receives an email informing them that they have enrolled for the paperless pool form.
