The submission of a Stop Service request for customers with a portal profile and for customers without a profile follows the process of a guided procedure to be routed to the administrative user for processing.
Step 1: Navigate to the following URL: https://www.fwcustomer.org/fairfax. Customer will enter their 1) User Name and 2) Password, then click Login.
Step 2: To stop a service, users click on Stop Service in the left navigation bar.
Step 3: Users will go through 3 steps in order to stop a service:
Terms & Conditions:
Users must tick the box to indicate that they have read the terms and conditions then click Next button in order to navigate to the next step
2. Account Identification:
Stop Service Date: User must select a date to stop the service on.
Current Email Address: user must enter their email address
Current Mailing Address
Current Phone Number: user must enter their phone number
Click Submit to submit the stop service request.
3. Confirmation: Confirmation page will be displayed for the user as seen below:
Note: Non-registered users are able to stop a service by clicking on Stop Service link in homepage, same process as above
