Customers will be given the option of sharing access to their account(s) with other users via guest user access. This option enables a primary account holder to invite additional users to see account data or grant unrestricted access.
To guarantee that access is shared with the appropriate users, the procedure includes various approval phases.
Step 1: Navigate to the following URL: https://www.fwcustomer.org/fairfax. Customer will enter their 1) User Name and 2) Password, then click Login.
Step 2: To share an account(s) to guest user(s), User clicks on Guest User Access in the main navigation bar or from Profile & Accounts --> Manage Accounts
Step 3: User clicks Share Account(s) button, a popup with all the user's accounts will be displayed for the user to select the account(s) they want to share with other users and then clicks on Continue button
Note: User can share one or multiple accounts with a guest user if desired
Step 4: Add Guest User popup will be displayed to the user, with the following fields:
Email Address --> the user must enter the guest user email address
"What type of access would you like to share?" --> the user must enter the access type for the guest access
Start and End Dates --> guest user can select the length of time they're authorizing for the guest access (optional fields):
Start Date: The user selects a start date for the guest access, which can be today or in the future.
End Date: If the user selects "Yes" radio button , then the user selects an end date for the guest access, which could be today or in the future. And if the user selects "No End Date" radio button is selected then the user would have no end date (no expiry date for the guest access)

Step 5: After clicking Continue a popup is displayed containing the following information:
Information of the guest user access to confirm.
Toggling the button ensures that the user has read the terms and conditions.
Step 6: A confirmation popup is displayed that the guest access invite has been sent to the user
Step 1: guest user receives the invite via email, then clicks "here" to set up their account for the guest access.
Step 2: If the guest user already has an FFW account, then they check the Login with your existing Fairfax Water Portal account credentials box and enter their username and password then click "Submit," but if they don't have a FFW account, they may select Create a new Fairfax Water account and then click "Next" to create an account (registration process)
Step 3: Upon final submission of guest access request, name and optional message will be sent to the account holder for a final review. guest user receives an email when their request has been approved or rejected.

Step 4: If the account holder approved the guest user's request then the guest user would be able to login to the account, and if the account holder rejected the guest user's request then the guest user wouldn't be able to login to the account
