How are Pacific Ocean current patterns related to global climate events?
Complex interactions between ocean currents and atmospheric circulation create semi-annual events that are known globally as El Nino & La Nina. This lesson describes the "normal" pattern and explores the large-scale climate impacts of Pacific warming and cooling.
