Why study the science of Biology?
Unit Summary: This unit introduces students to the topics, tools and mindset that an individual embraces when they engage in biological inquiry. The students will identify the qualities that define life and the levels that biologists organize life into. More importantly, students will explore the processes of science: planning, executing, and analyzing data from experiments and field observations using the appropriate tools, terminology and methods of organizing/interpreting data collected in the pursuit of science.
