COURSE DESCRIPTION – Anatomy & Physiology is a class that is designed to broaden the student's’ knowledge of the science of biology, while also increasing their understanding of the human body. The textbook and structure of the course is intended as a college preparatory Anatomy & Physiology class, with an expectation of individual and group work that will foster the independent learning and study skills needed for success in post-secondary studies. Additional primary source and biology-related science readings will be assigned, and these assignments will provide the structure for greater investigation into the many fields of biology.

COURSE GOALS – The Anatomy & Physiology portion of this class will provide the basic structure for the year.
